Product Overview

Sika Antisol S is a wax-based liquid curing compound that is spray-applied to freshly placed concrete surfaces immediately after finishing. It forms a temporary, impermeable wax membrane that retains the mixing water within the concrete, preventing premature evaporation that would otherwise cause incomplete cement hydration, surface crazing, plastic shrinkage cracking, and reduced surface strength. Proper curing is one of the most critical yet frequently neglected steps in concrete construction, and Sika Antisol S provides a reliable, efficient, and economical alternative to wet burlap or polythene sheet curing. Once concrete has achieved adequate strength, the wax membrane eventually weathers away, or can be removed mechanically before application of coatings or floor systems.
