Product Overview

Sika® Pump is a universal liquid admixture that improves the pumpability of difficult concrete mixes while protecting pumps and pipelines from excessive wear. Based on a solution of polymer viscosity regulators, it increases the internal cohesion, plasticity and flexibility of the mix, so concrete with variable fines, low cement content or poor particle-size distribution moves through the line smoothly instead of jerking or segregating. By reducing pumping pressure and friction, it extends the working life of pumps and pipes and improves placing efficiency. The product is chloride-free, has no adverse effect on hardened concrete and is safe for reinforced and prestressed work. It is ideal for pumping contractors, ready-mix plants and large pours.
