Product Overview

SikaLatex is a styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) latex emulsion with two principal roles: bonding agent applied as a cement slurry between old and new concrete, and admixture blended into repair mortars to improve flexibility, adhesion, and durability. As a bonding slurry, a mix of SikaLatex and cement is brushed onto the prepared substrate before patching or overlay work, ensuring permanent bond between old and new concrete. As a mortar admixture, it increases flexibility, reduces shrinkage cracking, and significantly improves adhesion and tensile strength versus plain cement mortars. SikaLatex is one of the most widely used concrete repair additives in India and has been specified by engineers for decades.
